Family Economics Conference 2010

The Family Economics Conference is designed to equip families to address the practical economic issues that come up in everyday family life.
Castle Rock, CO - March 5-6, 2010

Oh the times, they are a-changing!
Right now, profound social and cultural shifts are driving political and economic changes that will impact every family in America in the next several decades. Failing to understand the times and take necessary steps to address these changes may very well result in the destruction of your family.
We have an opportunity unparalleled in this nation's history. The faulty economic system we have inherited from our great grandparents is failing. The salvific promises of a Messianic State will come to nothing. But this is just the time to rebuild our family economies on Biblical principles. Equipped with a Biblical vision, families will not only survive during these difficult economic times, but thrive!

The 2010 Family Economics Conference
The Family Economics Conference is designed to equip families to address the practical economic issues that come up in everyday family life. In presenting a vision, we hope to provide intensely practical applications for building a Biblical family economy in the areas of:
Work
Family entrepreneurism
Debt free living
Contractual employment
Inheritance
Being a faithful employee
Taking care of aging parents
Living without social security
Saving and investments
Retirement
Family charity
Education and mentorship
Taxation
Health care decisions and insurance
Tithing
Seeking employment

Raising dominion-oriented daughters
You simply cannot afford to miss this conference!

Our Speakers
We have drawn from the foremost authors and speakers who have themselves implemented what they write and speak on in their own household economies. How did they pay off their homes? How did they start their own family economies? How did they care for their elderly parents and homeschool their children at the same time? How did they raise dominion-oriented daughters? How did they mentor young men for a calling in life? How did they exempt themselves from social security while at the same time providing an inheritance for their children's children?

Keynote speakers:

RC Sproul Jr, Dennis Peacocke, Kevin Swanson, Scott Brown

Make it a Colorado Retreat for the Family!
Nestled at the foot of the beautiful Rocky Mountains and less than 30 minutes from Denver, Castle Rock is a historic and beautiful town for a family retreat. We've partnered with ski resorts and lodges in the Rocky Mountains to provide you an incredible week of mountain adventure prior to the weekend Economics Conference. Click here for more information on making this an excursion to remember for your family!

Church Leadership Luncheon and Track
We are providing a lunch and leadership track for pastors, elders, and deacons of local churches attending the conference. This track will address special issues that local churches must be prepared to address in tough economic times. Please note on the registration form if you are part of the leadership of your local church.

A Word about the Sponsor
For six years, Generations with Vision has produced the Generations Radio Broadcast, addressing social, cultural, economic, and political issues from a distinctively Biblical perspective. We have chronicled the decline of the family, faith, freedoms, and the economy in America and the West, all the while building healthy, happy family economies out on the eastern plains of Colorado (a safe distance from the decline of Western Civilization). We are hopeful, outrageously optimistic, and incredibly blessed with fruitful families who love God and worship Him in our homes and churches. This is our first conference, and we feel that the timing couldn't possibly be better than March of 2010.

Sunday, November 8, 2009

General Admission $7.00

Horsecapades is the unique presentation of the Westernaires. It combines talent with skill that is centered around the horse and Western tradition. It’s a circus-like review combining action, speed and a variety of talents set to music. It’s a professional performance put on by the largest precision drill riding group in the world.

Last year’s Horsecapades presented 500 riders and horses in a show of action quite unlike any arena performance you have seen. The riders are the best of the young Westernaires, many of whom have been with the group for eight, nine and occasionally ten years. When you view the performance, remember that these are not paid professionals, but children like yours who have dedicated themselves to the development of an unusual art form. The two hours you spend at the show will be happy and memorable.

Horscapades has been presented each year not only for the general public, but also at a free performance for the aged and underprivileged of the Denver metropolitan area. If you are unable to attend a performance, please consider purchasing a donation ticket, which will allow someone less fortunate to view the show. The Westernaires is the only performing group, amateur or professional, to provide a performance exclusively for the aged and underprivileged.

For tickets please contact Emma or Diane Ellison
