"Take Me Out to the Ball Game"

The Colorado Rockies are sponsoring a Youth Essay Contest as part of their Hispanic Heritage program for the month of September. The contest is open to elementary students and middle school students. This is the first year that homeschoolers have been invited to participate. If they have enough response from homeschool students, they will create a separate homeschool category for judging. Each participant will receive 4 tickets to a Rockies game. The topic for the contest is Hispanic Heroes: how they affected the game of baseball and the community.
