Homeschooled students in grades 2 through 5 have a fun opportunity to see themselves on TV! We are looking for well-spoken children to talk about their favorite book in front of a video camera. PPLD's Video Studio, at East Library, will film kids as they briefly tell what they liked about their book and why other kids should read it. They can choose any book, and can dress up as one of the book's characters if they'd like to. These "book talks" will be shown on PPLD TV--Cable Channel 17 during our children's programming time slots. As part of the "Pikes Peak KidsREAD @ Your Library" project, we'll also be taking a still shot of each child that will be made into a poster to be displayed at one of the PPLD Branches.
